The sports hall in Masnago, named after former mayor of Varese, Lino Oldrini, will be called PALA2A from today. The home of Varese Basketball will thus bear the name A2A Energia, after the company A2A Group, which sells electricity and gas, and is responsible for energy efficiency services. This important player has decided to link its name to the Red & Whites for the next three years. With this agreement, the temple of basketball in Varese will be able to rely on A2A Energia who, like Varese Basketball, believes in the promotion of the region and in a more cohesive social fabric.

Claudio Coldebella, General Manager Openjobmetis Varese Basketball: «We are very pleased that such an important player as A2A Energia has identified in us and in our team a tool to consolidate its relationship with the region. PALA2A will definitely become a benchmark in life, and for the sport in the city and the region. Now more than ever, the home of the Red & White fans and all lovers of basketball will be synonymous with thrills and energy. Our work as a team has led to us to the inclusion of a new and prestigious partner in the Red & White family».

Andrea Cavallini, Chairman and CEO of A2A Energia: «We are very pleased with the Varese Basketball partnership agreement and are proud of the establishment of PALA2A. It is a tangible way to witness our relationship with the region in which we have worked for many years with the ASPEM Energy brand and, from January, as A2A Energia. We believe that the world of sport is an opportunity to communicate this change and the values that continually inspire our company, which is recognized in the industry for its excellent service, professionalism, the transparency in its business relationships, its client focus and attention to their needs».
