“I’m very happy with the game we played, which was exemplified by extraordinary solidity and consistency. In an away game, we beat one of the best-trained teams in the league — I like how Cremona plays and I like Coach Pancotto, so for us it was very important to get these two points which, apart from the rankings, were a test to measure what shape we were in. At Vanoli, it might really have been tough to take away the two points but instead we staved off their aggression and their physicality for the entire 40 minutes and we even changed. They closed off the perimeter well beyond the 3-point area, but we did well to attack the hoop, do well in terms of getting the 2 points, and got many free throws in. Victory in a game of this type is one thing that makes us very proud.”
