An unforgettable two-day event dedicated to sports, culture and friendship. The first and historic edition of the Super School Cup, the event spread over two intense days and promoted by Umana Reyer in collaboration with Openjobmetis Varese, Dolomiti Energia Trentino and Bertram Derthona Tortona, ended with great success. The project brought the winning schools of their respective student tournaments to the lagoon, giving the kids a total experience: from the excitement on the court to the discovery of the city’s artistic heritage and moments of pure sociability. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The students’ experience began right from the journey: after arriving by train, the delegations reached the striking basketball court of St. Helena aboard a dedicated boat of mobility partner Alilaguna. It was a grand entrance, which was followed by the official presentation of the event, featuring representatives of the four clubs involved and the institutions, testifying to the great synergy created by this project: <\/p>

In the beautiful and unique setting of St. Helena, the four institutes gave rise to heated challenges under the banner of fair play. At the end of a very tight final, won by a single length, ITET Daverio Casula Nervi of Varese lifted the trophy to the sky. <\/p>

Semifinals:Liceo Stefanini (Mestre) – ITET Daverio Casula Nervi (Varese): 43-46Istituto Ivo de Carneri (Civezzano) – Liceo Giuseppe Peano (Tortona): 45-30<\/p>

Final 3rd\/4th place:Liceo Stefanini (Mestre) – Liceo Giuseppe Peano (Tortona): 27-36<\/p>

Final 1st\/2nd place:ITET Daverio Casula Nervi (Varese) – Istituto Ivo de Carneri (Civezzano): 29-28<\/p>

In line with the project’s educational values, the prize intended for the winning team was a bonsai tree, chosen as a symbol of sustainability and care for the environment. The small tree was donated by Pianura Bonsai, a local organization specializing in the care and dissemination of this art, which promotes respect for nature. By receiving the award, the Varese-based institute officially pledged to take care of the bonsai, ensuring its growth and prosperity over time within the school. <\/p>

Not only matches: the afternoon also saw the boys compete from long distance. Triumphing in the eagerly awaited Alilaguna 3-Point Contest was Jacopo Sant’Antonio, a student from ITET Daverio Casula Nervi in Varese, who thus crowned a perfect day for the Lombard institute. <\/p>

The beating heart of the off-campus sociality was undoubtedly the Anda Hostel in Mestre, which hosted students and professors for a convivial dinner full of energy. Far more than just an overnight stay, the Anda turned into a space of pure aggregation and lightheartedness: the students experienced moments of sociability, immersing themselves in a festive atmosphere that also infected the hostel’s other international guests. The evening reached its climax with an enthralling Karaoke, which saw the students starring amid laughter and shared songs. It was the perfect conclusion to a busy day, a moment when the colors of the different game jerseys blended into one celebration of friendship and fun. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Day 2\n\n\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The morning of today, Tuesday, May 5, saw the boys put aside their play uniforms to immerse themselves in the history and art of Venice. All delegations from the institutes of Varese, Trento, Tortona and Mestre met in the heart of the city for an exclusive guided tour of the Doge’s Palace. <\/p>

It was an extraordinarily enriching moment that reaffirmed the true heartbeat of the Super School Cup: going beyond the playing field to shape the citizens of tomorrow, combining sporting impact with cultural growth.The experience of these two days was not only lived on the parquet floor or among the halls of the Palace, but was captured through the eyes of the students themselves. A key role was played by the students of the “Communication Teams” of each institute: smartphones and video cameras in hand, they documented in POV (Point of View) style the emotions of the trip, the tension of the competitions, the interviews on the sidelines and the moments of pure goliardia experienced together at the Anda Hostel in Mestre. A real storytelling generated by Gen Z for Gen Z, which turned the event into a choral and genuine tale on social networks.The balance of this first edition goes far beyond the sports results. The Super School Cup demonstrated how basketball can break down geographic boundaries, building bridges between different schools, cities and professional clubs. <\/p>

This event, which had the honor of receiving the Patronage of the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP) and Legabasket Serie A (LBA), officially represents the “first brick” for a much more ambitious project: the future creation of a National School Basketball League. A shared and structured format that in the coming years will aim to involve an increasing number of clubs throughout Italy. <\/p>

Thus ends an experience destined to remain etched in the memory of those who lived it.
