On Wednesday afternoon, July 6, 2016, a press conference of the presentation of ‘We Are Basketball’ (www.ilbasketsiamonoi.it) was held at the Villa Vitella Rimoldi Law Firm in Varese. This is a non-profit organisation made up of a group of 15 enthusiasts in order to create ‘supporter trust’ for Varese Basketball. The goal of the new organisation is to promote a form of popular shareholding, which will contribute not only to the strengthening of basketball culture in the city of Varese, but also, and more importantly, to financing the Red & Whites. The representatives were Counsellor Antonio Bulgheroni (who is also one of the 15 founders of the trust) and General Manager, Claudio Coldebella. Marcello Laudi and Andrea Crocella represented the ‘Varese in the Heart’ Consortium.
