MASSIMO BULLERI IS THE NEW OPENJOBMETIS COACH

Openjobmetis Varese Basketball is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Massimo Bulleri who as of today, is to be the coach of the Red & White team until the end of the current season, with an option for the following one. This is a welcome return for Bulleri. He ended his extraordinary career as a player for Varese and took his first steps as a coach, working as an assistant for two seasons. Coach Massimo Bulleri will be introduced to the press tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday 9 September, at 16:00. Massimo Bulleri is one of the most famous and esteemed characters in Italian basketball. His career as a player is replete with success. Between 1999 and 2005 he won 2 championships, 4 Italian Cups, 2 Italian Super Cups, 1 Saporta Cup and 2 MVP Serie A titles wearing a Treviso jersey. With a National team jersey, he scored 1063 points in 127 matches, winning silver at the Athens Olympics in 2004, a bronze at the European Championships in Sweden in 2003, and a bronze at the Mediterranean Games in Tunis in 2001. He ended his career in 2017 in Varese, where he began his career as a coach, working as Attilio Caja’s assistant. Following two seasons at the foot of Sacro Monte, he moved to ambitious A2 Ravenna team where he joined Massimo Cancellieri as the club’s technical advisor.
