This afternoon, at the Varese office of our partner Nippo Motors, a press conference was held to introduce Ismaël Kamagate.

“I’d like to thank the club and the city of Varese for how they’ve welcomed me; I’ve noticed a great deal of care from everyone, not just from a sports perspective but also on a personal level. We have a fantastic group of players and a top-notch coaching staff. The individual work we’re doing these days is part of a technical process aimed at improving the entire team. It’s a planned process; day by day we’re building on it, and the staff is helping me get ready for the first day of the season. We have a great bond among teammates; in practice we push each other, and we also hang out off the court—that’s the right way to build something together. Throughout the season, we’ll need to take it one game at a time and try to bring home the wins. I also have a great relationship with Coach Kastritis, who really motivates me and has told me he’ll do everything he can to help me become the best player I can be. Along the way, Kyle Hines has given me a lot of advice, and I still carry his teachings with me today, especially when it comes to defense.”.
